Welcome to the 7th JFPS International Symposium on Fluid Power at Toyama
tanaka_pic The Japan Fluid Power System Society has been holding international symposium on fluid power in every three years since 1989. During the last decade, fluid power technologies have matured and some new technologies relating to IT, energy saving, water hydraulics have emerged. For the purpose of collecting these worth-to-discuss topics and exchanging opinions, the 7th symposium, 15-18 Sept.2008, places importance on the plenary session mainly composed of distinguished speakers in specific fields of pneumatics, oil-hydraulics and water-hydraulics. Furthermore, a series of three days organized sessions are opened in the elegant congress-hall for sharing recent technologies among all participants. These sessions accept limited number of 36 papers in application fields of (1) agriculture/ mining, (2) construction, (3) water-hydraulics/ tribology, (4) injection molding, (5) automobile, (6) aircraft/ space/ naval, and (7) robotics/ mechatronics. And, general papers are arranged in the poster sessions that are opened in the special core time during two days for making lively discussions. I hope all participants get hints through discussions with researchers or experts of oil-hydraulics, pneumatics, water-hydraulics and functional fluid power, and also enjoy the nice scenery of green, yellow and red mixed colored Mts. Tateyama peaks.
