IE2 Recent Research of Fluid Power at Yanshan University
Xiangdong KONG(Vice President of Yanshan University), Shan DONGSHENG (Yanshan University)
  Resume of Xiangdong KONG

I graduated from Zhejiang University in July 1982 and obtained Master and Doctor Degree in Yanshan University in 1985 and 1991. I am a full professor now. I teach Control Engineering Basis, Electro-hydraulic Control System, Hydraulic Transmission System and System Simulation etc. and yet direct postgraduate students. In the same time, I do some researches work in the area of the electro-mechanical control engineering and machine design. Meanwhile, I do some managerial work in education and research.
My major foundation projects are Development of new DC type of 4-high-mill supported by National Doctoral Foundation of China, Application research of pipe dynamic characteristics supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China and Research of dynamic rolling process simulation of strip mill supported by Natural Science Foundation of Herbei Province of China, etc. My major research directions are Mechtronics engineering, Fluid power transmission and control system, Rolling mill control system and Computer application in machinery design, etc.
I obtained many awards from our Chinese Government, Hebei Province and our university such as first prize in Nation Science and Technology Award (1999), prize in Nation Youth Science and Technology Creation Award (2000), etc.
